Lower rates and longer terms, SBA‑backed.

SBA loans are made by approved lenders and partially guaranteed by the U.S. Small Business Administration. That guarantee unlocks rates, amounts, and terms conventional financing rarely matches.

Among the lowest rates available

The SBA guarantee reduces lender risk, which translates into highly competitive pricing for small businesses.

Terms up to 10 to 25 years

Long repayment terms keep monthly payments low: up to 10 years for working capital and up to 25 years for real estate.

Amounts up to $5 million

The flagship 7(a) program funds working capital, expansion, acquisition, equipment, and real estate at serious scale.

What is an SBA loan?

An SBA loan is a business loan made by an approved lender and partially guaranteed by the U.S. Small Business Administration. The SBA does not lend the money directly. Its guarantee reduces the lender’s risk, which is what unlocks the program’s signature benefits: lower rates, longer terms, and larger amounts than most conventional business financing.

The flagship 7(a) program funds up to $5 million for working capital, equipment, real estate, acquisitions, and refinancing, with terms up to 10 years for working capital and up to 25 years for real estate. The 504 program pairs a lender with a Certified Development Company to finance major fixed assets like buildings and heavy equipment, and the Microloan program serves smaller needs up to $50,000.

The trade-off is paperwork and time: SBA loans involve more documentation and a longer approval process than alternative funding. That is exactly why your advisor manages the package with you, assembling the documents, structuring the application, and driving it to approval.

How it works

1Request in about a minute. Share the basics in the short form. No documents needed to start.

2Pre-qualify with your advisor. A real person reviews your profile by phone in about 15 minutes, confirms SBA fit, and tells you exactly which documents to gather.

3Your advisor builds the package. We assemble and structure the full application for the lender and SBA review, the part most owners dread, handled with you.

4Approval and funding. SBA loans fund in weeks, not days. Your advisor keeps you updated at every step until the money lands.

Why business owners choose an SBA loan through Denali.

Built by entrepreneurs, for entrepreneurs.

Lower total cost of capital

The SBA guarantee delivers pricing that short-term and unsecured funding cannot touch.

Long terms, low payments

Repayment over 10 to 25 years keeps monthly payments small relative to the capital you receive.

Serious funding amounts

Microloans up to $50K, and up to $5 million through the 7(a) program. Real capital for real moves.

Paperwork, managed with you

Your advisor assembles and structures the application package. You focus on the business; we drive the file.

An honest answer on fit

If SBA is not your fastest path, your advisor says so, and shows you the alternative plus a roadmap to qualify later.

Use it for almost any business purpose

Working capital, real estate, equipment, acquisition, refinancing. The 7(a) program covers nearly every legitimate business need.

SBA loan FAQs.

No. SBA loans are made by approved lenders and partially guaranteed by the U.S. Small Business Administration. The guarantee is what allows lenders to offer lower rates and longer terms. Denali Advance is a private company, is not affiliated with or endorsed by the SBA or any government agency, and works with lending partners who participate in SBA programs.

The 7(a) program is the general-purpose flagship: up to $5 million for working capital, equipment, real estate, acquisition, or refinancing. The 504 program finances major fixed assets, buildings and heavy equipment, through a lender and a Certified Development Company. Microloans cover smaller needs up to $50,000. Your advisor identifies the right program on your first call.

Longer than alternative funding. Plan on weeks, not days, depending on the program, the loan size, and how quickly documents come together. Your advisor gives you a realistic timeline up front and keeps you updated at every step. If speed matters more than cost right now, ask about bridge options while the SBA loan processes.

Sending the short form does not run a credit check. SBA applications do involve a full review of business and personal credit, and your advisor explains exactly when and how credit is pulled before anything happens.

The short form starts it. SBA underwriting then requires more documentation than alternative funding, typically business and personal tax returns, financial statements, and a business debt schedule. Your advisor gives you a precise checklist and helps you assemble every item.

SBA approvals generally look for scores of 650 or higher, along with solid financials and at least two years in business. Decisions weigh the full picture: revenue, cash flow, credit history, and the purpose of the loan.

It depends on the program and amount. Real estate and larger loans typically involve collateral, and some uses, like acquisitions and 504 projects, include an owner equity contribution, often around 10%. Your advisor lays out the exact structure of your offer before you commit to anything.
